Up for an experiment/ I know the results

I am going to go out here in a few and shoot a few images in around the Hinkley lake area of Hinkley Ohio.... I am going to shoot using live view and a remote release. Live view locks the mirror up on my 7d and my thinking is that this will pay huge dividends in sharpness with shuttters of 1 second or more! C ya
Guess I am not as smart as I thought! UPDATE
Ok, I can say the live view with long exposures is a bust. The camera wants to only allow so much modification to the exposures before it starts correcting and boosting the ISO. Live view might just be optimized for video! So plan B involved custom function 3 - 13 Lock up mirror manu
